Al-Iman Foundation also undertakes Udhiyah during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, the program is annually launched with the noble aim of fulfilling an important sunnah while aiding the needy.
This program commemorated the sacrifice undertaken by Prophet Ibrahim as an offering to Allah (SWT) and served to provide support to the less fortunate in our communities.
The Qurbani Program commences during the first 10 days of the Islamic month of Dhul-Hijjah, coinciding with the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha. Al-Iman Foundation receivs generous donations from the animal, such as a sheep or a goat and cows from the public and distribute the meat to those who are in need.
The collective effort demonstration of unity and generosity of the community, coming together to fulfil an Islamic obligation and extend a helping hand to those in need.
The meat obtained from the Qurbani Program is distributed to the poor and needy individuals within our communities including orphans, widows and the unemployed. This distribution allows right holders to partake in a festive meal during the days of Eid al-Adha and enabled those who are less fortunate to experience joy and abundance during this important Islamic occasion.
Throughout the Qurbani period, over 2,000 meat parcels are annually distributed to needy Muslims. These parcels were carefully prepared and thoughtfully distributed to ensure that they reached those who would benefit the most from this act of kindness.
Furthermore, the Qurbani meat is reserved for Al-Imani boarding school learners and feeding schemes, allocating sufficient of the provision for these programs.
This thoughtful approach to distribution ensured that the impact of the Qurbani Program reached a wider range of beneficiaries, both within and beyond the immediate community.
